The Birthday Book Club Program, offered by the TESPTO, provides an opportunity for families to honor a student's birthday through donating a book to the school library.   In advance of each child's birthday, a form is sent home inviting families to participate in the program.  Donations may take the form of a child's favorite book or a monetary donation to purchase a book or magazine  subscription needed in the library.  Suggested titles are always available from the school librarian for your review and there does not need to be an exact match between the donation and the cost of the book.   A bookplate is placed inside the cover of the new book /magazine stating the child's name, date and the birthday being honored.  The "gift" is then presented during the student's library class and the donor is the first student who may borrow the book.

The Birthday Book Club has greatly enhanced the collection we are able to offer our students at Proctor.
