Our Class Size is a maximum of 15 children with a certified teacher and a classroom assistant.
Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists are available to children with special needs who require these services, and to monitor the development of all children. Therapy needs are met through the curriculum via inclusion, with objectives carried over in the classroom by the school staff.
Our Environment is safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate. Children are provided with opportunities to work independently and in large and small groups.
Our Language Based Curriculum is both developmental and thematic, promoting a child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Our Daily Schedule provides a balance of indoor/outdoor activities, active and quiet times, and both child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. Classroom centers allow children to choose from varied and interesting materials and activities throughout the school day. The outdoor playground provides a variety of structures to promote physical development.
Our Public School Setting allows for exciting and beneficial interactions with the broader school community.
Parent Involvement is a major component of our program. Parents are always welcome to observe or volunteer in the classroom.
Your Child's Progress in the preschool is closely monitored. Progress reports and conferences are scheduled in January and June as needed.
