The integrated preschool classes, located in the Steward School were established in the fall of 1989.  An integrated preschool program is designed to serve the general population of children, ages three and four, within a local community, in a developmentally appropriate setting and include up to 49% of children with mild to moderate special needs.  Support services which could be integrated into the curriculum include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and guidance.  These services are provided within the context of the school day, based upon the needs of individual children.
