ART
The visual arts program provides an opportunity for self-expression in an accepting and open environment. Self-expression and problem solving are encouraged through the use of a wide range of materials, the exploration of many cultures, and exposure to artists and their artwork. Working individually or in groups children will develop their artistic skills while exploring their individual creativity. Using the Massachusetts Visual Art Framework, lessons are planned to reinforce positive steps in individual growth and development and to meet the needs of all learners. Artwork is on exhibit continuously in the Steward School hallways. When visiting our school please take a moment to admire the wonderful efforts of our talented students. |
