Australian Aboriginal Paintings:
   Second grade students learned about some of the oldest known art ever created through viewing pictures of prehistoric cave drawings and Aboriginal bark paintings.  They observed the style, subject matter, and patterns used and created a painting centered on Australian animals.

In the Style of.....
Georgia O'Keefe

Grade One Students learned about the life and art of Georgia O'Keefe. 
They used her ideas and the inspiration she got from nature to draw and paint enlarged flowers with watercolors.
