Toolbars
Microsoft Word has many
toolbars: Standard, Formatting, Auto Text, Clipboard, Control Toolbox, Database, Drawing,
Forms, Frames, Picture, Reviewing, Tables and Borders, Visual Basic, Web, Web Tools, and
WordArt. You can find this drop down list under View - Toolbars. Those
most often used are: Standard, Formatting, Drawing, Pictures and WordArt. If you find a
toolbar missing simply go to View - Toolbars and select what you need.
Keep in mind that these toolbars can float on the screen or be dragged into the top or
bottom toolbar. These toolbars can stack or join together. When they are joined together,
some icons become hidden. To find the missing tool icons go to the drop down menu with the
pop down triangle below it (labled as More Buttons).
Line Spacing
To change the line spacing of a Word document go to Format - Paragraph. Line spacing will be the third item down.
